Navigating the Labyrinth of Anxiety Disorders

Their compulsions may involve excessive cleaning, arranging items in a specific order, or constantly checking for safety hazards.

Anxiety disorders can be effectively managed through a combination of psychotherapy and medication. Psychotherapy, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), helps individuals identify and change negative thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to anxiety. Medication, such as antidepressants and selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs), can help regulate brain chemistry and reduce anxiety symptoms.
